Actor Adam Kinsey is researching a character he will be playing in his next film; his next character is an FBI agent. Which means he is shadowing the team - more specifically Jack. Jack, Sue, and Adam meet with Howie who has a friend named Otis who has been approached by an arms dealer to sell some guns for the dealer. Otis doesn't like guns so he refuses to sell them; however when he's arrested for selling Myles a TV the team manages to convince him to help Howie sell the guns to a gang called the Scorpions. After the case is done planes and tankers start going missing which suggests an impending terrorist attack so Jack and Dimitrius ask Adam to leave because of National Security.
