Deanne Bray played by Sue Thomas
Deanne Bray is a deaf actress whom Sue meets in the waiting room at the hospital when she is going to see Jack and Billy in the last episode of season one (Billy The Kid). She is an enthusiastic and friendly woman who like Sue signs, reads lips and has a service dog.
In the very last episode of the show (Endings And Beginnings) Sue again bumps into Deanne; this time in a church. Deanne explains to Sue that she has Multiple Sclerosis and that her friends have been brilliant and how she wouldn't be able to cope as well without their support.
